Calls for Proposals

SGP Guyana invites registered Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), including Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), women groups, youth groups, conservation groups and indigenous groups to submit project concepts/proposals in the GEF focal areas of:

  • ·Biodiversity Conservation
  • ·Climate Change Mitigation
  • ·Sustainable Forest Management (SFM) and Prevention of Land Degradation
  • ·Reduction and/or Elimination of Persistent Organic Pollutants (chemicals)
  • ·Protection of International Waters (coastal zone management)
