Demonstrating what solar energy can do - findings and observation from a site visit
This premises in Mae Pa community was established as a joint effort of various stakeholders such as Taipei Overseas Peace Service, Enfant du Mekong, Border Green Energy Team and Tak Border Child Assistance Foundation. In spite of its location within Mae Sod District-with grid connection, the project saw an opportunity to show community members in Mae Pa to learn more about what solar energy could do and about reduction of household waste. Apart from serving as a dormitory for less privilege youth, the premises would be a learning centre for environment conservation.
