Project Details & Results
The project aims to bring the Grantees from all over the country to the SGP Project Site (TUR-04-12). The theme of the meeting is to identify the local impacts of SGP projects, particularly those of the Biodiversity projects, as currently there is no climate change project completed and very few in land degradation FA. The meeting will include a one-day field trip to the Acarlar Lake Visitors and Environmental Education Centre and two days of meetings focusing on the local impacts, from project to locals, from locals to project and partnerships and participation in projects. The meeting is also hoped to have the added benefit of bringing the locals in Acarlar project site a little closer to the project and also act as a model ecotourism activity for the first time in the area.
