"I have seen many huge projects, millions of dollars spent in equipment and consultants. Most of these projects have no impact and usually tend to forget about their own beneficiaries. SGP has allowed me to sit at the same table with the neediest people and to be able to explain to them that I work for them.
[...] having personally seen the impact SGP has and how it benefits people with simple things such as access to safe clean water, electricity, food, I will not let such an important tool not be operative [...]. It's about changing people's lives and having huge impact with little money, and I, as a part of the UN system feel responsible of doing my best to keep SGP ongoing."
