In 2009, the Small Grants Programme entered a partnership with Australian Government Overseas Aid Program, now assimilated under the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of the Australian Government. The objective of the programme is to improve the adaptive capacity of communities and reduce their vulnerability to the impacts of climate change and its variability.
