Protection and expansion of domestic breed of sheep Pramenka in Malesevski- Pijanecki region
The project is replication of replication of successfully completed project generating from OP3 and aims to preserve native sheep breed variety “Pramenka” the most autochthonous sheep variety in the Balkan. The following project activities are planned to be implemented in Pehcevo Eastern part of Macedonia:
• Improved biodiversity protection and conservation through encouraging local population to protect and reproduce of local autochthonic fruit spices and animal breeds,
• Raising public awareness on importance on conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity important to Agriculture and train local producers on organic production with organic agricultural methods
• Strengthen the livelihood of local inhabitants by boosting production of organic products as an important source of income and at the same time and preventing emigration of people from these depraved areas
