Fair for the results from the projects funded by GEF SGP Macedonia & Eco Fair
GEF SGP has existed in Macedonia since 2005 andit has finance nearly 70 projects in field of biodiversity conservation, climate change, international waters, land degradation and chemicals, for which around 1.6 million USD were awarded by GEF and cofinancing was also providedin the amount of about 2.0 millionUSD. The Projects of GEF SGP in the Republic of Macedonia have visible activities, measurable and visible results and the ability to maintain after their completion. The general public is not sufficiently aware with the opportunities that this program offers, as well as the benefits gained by the Republic of Macedonia in the field of environmental protection through the implementation of these projects in the period of 2005-2013.
The GEF SGP activities in the Republic of Macedonia as well as the benefits for the Republic of Macedonia of the realization of the projects supported by GEF SGP will be promoted through a presentation of all the previous successfully implemented projects during a joint event thus raising awareness that there is a possibility for something to be done for a better living environment
