Promotion on the Charcoal Cooking Stove Production
For a decade, the villager of Horkang village, Phaxay district, Xiengkhouang province has been cutting the big quantity of tree to use as firewood for cooking and other purposes of the household that is causing the forest destroyed as well to emit the greenhouse gas to the atmosphere, which is to make the temperature of the globe is also increasing or more global warming issues coming along as the consequence of the climate change that will lead to extreme environmental events such as more droughts, floods, wildfire to affect all sectors of socio-economic development. Along with the consequence of population growth the demand factors of basic living also increase, so to prevent above problem the villager of Ban Horkang has discussed with local authorities to find out the way in reducing deforestation by set up the group to produce charcoal cooking stove for sufficiency energy use, however they still need technical and financial supports to make the quality cooking stove. Therefore, the project aims to bring the new technology in producing the charcoal cooking stove with the quality one and more endurable by giving them the training and practice. This will be the product that can sell and make the money for income generation to their family.
