The primary problem identified is the lack of national level awareness programs geared towards the educating of persons in St.Kitts about conserving biodiversity within the marine and terrestrial spheres. Locally, persons have been led to believe that they should fear the ocean and shy away from lucrative marine-based and recreational activities. However, this national awareness campaign will be focused on creating a change in the attitude and perspective of persons toward the sea. This campaign will seek to foster a greater appreciation for the marine life and encourage underwater adventures by exploring the ocean.
