Connecting people to Nature
The project will support making the local communities connect the government, bisness house, Municipality and local Authorities when they join the World to Celebrate the World Environment Day. The local community through the CSO will showcase their works for support to global Environmental Protection on the theme: “Making the connection with People in the local communities by joining the global community during the celebration of World Environment Day. Various activities within the city will focus on the city beatification including beaches cleanups, trees planting and advocacy for cleanup in office and Vanuatu at large. The one week celebration will enable interactions between government and Civil society Organizations and local people. Activities involve with include showcasing CSO’s activities in different localities in the country through demonstrations (such as clean ups and tree planting), media exchanges, seminars and school cleanup and quizes programs.

Inovative Financial Mechanisms
A dialogue forum between Communities, local authorities, CSOs, government and municipalities for partnerships for cleaner city.
It is a public event where invitation was sent throughout the town via fliers, radio, television and the Civil society networks, calling for participation in the one week event.
