Vegetable garden - Fakaofo
Highly porous, nutrient poor (low humus content and high surface silinity and highly alkaline) soil in Fakaofo prevents agricultural development and subsistence economy. There is also a lack of knowledge. The aim of the project is to build the capacity of the women to provide a local supply of vegetables instead of the imported vegetables.
