This project will improve the food security for the participating households on Ailuk (between 35-40 of the total 85 households), with 5-7 households sharing one solar-powered freezer. The pilot project for making and storing breadfruit flour will be initiated by 12 households, but this component will improve the food security for many more by ensuring there is flour stored at the Community Center, which will be available for use by the community during food shortages.
