Honey Bee Farm
Honey Bee Farm
There is a general decrease in the population of honeybees in Tongatapu. This is a result from the impact of cyclones in previous years. This project is conducted by a group based at the Kolovai and 'Ahau community located at the Western District of Tongatapu. This group focuses on the biodiversity of the ecosystem aiming to replenish the population of honeybees in the Western District and hopefully the rest of the districts in Tongatapu. The secondary result from this project is to promote organic farming through plant pollination.
