Donkerbos community pilot project on climate change adaptation.
The overall objective of the project is to reduce vulnerabilities to climate change and improve the capacity of these communities, who rely on agriculture for their livelihoods, to adapt to climate change. This project is underpinned by the understanding that climate change impacts on major sectors and livelihoods, and therefore some key themes needs to be understood and addressed. Therefore, this action seeks to improve the livelihoods of these communities through the promotion and implementation of resources which are environmentally friendly and do not contribute to climate change.
