Sustainable Development of Biodiversity and renewable natural resources in Gunyar
To promote wise use of communal forest and rangelands and provide protection to the wildlife of the area.
The entire village community of Gunyar will be the participants and beneficiaries of the
programme. The Gunyar Youth Welfare Association of 116 members will start the
implementation of programme with the collaboration of the village group relevant to each
activity of the programme.
The project shall have the following outputs, About 50,000 trees and shrubs planted, mainly those capable of providing fodder. Increased natural flora and fauna of the village mountain, through better protection, Enhanced productivity of about 500 village cows.
Fuel-efficient stoves provided to about 75 % of the village households. Micro-credit provided to small farmers and small entrepreneurs.
