Project development goal:

To increase community participation on managing and developing the area of Dieng Mountain, which is supported by it?s stakeholders

Project objectives:

1. To raise community awareness and increase community understanding on nature resources conservation
2. To increase community capacity in managing nature resources in sustainable way which is in line with their traditional values
3. To increase community?s income through the development of environmentally sound economic activities in 5 villages
4. To encourage the establishment of law enforcement in nature resource management supported by the involvement of local community and other stakeholders

Anticipated result of project :

1. The emergence of community who are aware and have consciousness on forest conservation
2. Reduced forest degradation by 50 % in every location
3. The emergence of environmentally sound economic activities (50% of the project participants) and increasing income by 25 %
4. Twenty five percent law abuse cases in environmental conservation reported by community, proceeded through proper channel
