Training Centre for breeding of Mariovo bee and production of organic honey products
The project goal is to educate Macedonian bee producers on organic honey production and at the same time to preserve authentic local bee specie and boost production of honey and honey products as an important source of income. A training centre is to be established where participants will attend training courses on organic agriculture including demonstration of old traditional beekeeping practices and using organic production technologies. Other project activities included preservation and set up a breeding centre for the authentic local bee specie Mariovska pcela and planting of 5 ?honey-bearing? trees.
