IMPROVING COMMUNITY LIVELIHOODS THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE MITIGATION, BAGAMOYO.
Project?s Primary Objective:

To reduce the rate of deforestation and contribute to sustainable environment management for conservation and poverty reduction.

Implementation Strategies:

1. Develop Village Land Use Plan
2. Conduct training on environment conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation

2. Over 90 villages will acquire knowledge and practical skills on environment conservation, climate change mitigation and adaptation techniques.
3. Water availability in the village for domestic, livestock and tree nurturing will be increased through drilling of the water borehole
4. Vegetation cover around the village will be increased through planting of over 4,000 trees
