Modern alternative energy sources for rural communities in Zaporizhya region
The project is aimed to combat climate change, reduce GHG emissions and demonstrate the benefits of renewable solar energy technologies in street lightening for the rural communities. The project is going to install autonomous solar street lightening system on two streets of small town in Zaporizhya region in close cooperation with local authorities and community. Moreover, a wide awareness raising campaign will be conducted to promote low-carbon technologies and demonstrate low-carbon access co-benefits for communities. The campaign will include public hearings, seminars and round table discussions.
