A project to be executed in a Miombo woodland, introducing agroforestry technologies towards improving livelihoods of local communities, trough ensuring food security and improving soil fertility. There will be propagation and processing of native and exotic fruits, introduction of farming vegetables in schools and community households. Community members will be trained on preserving the environment and preventing outbreaks of endemic diseases. There will be training in manufacture of batik clothing, sewing, and literacy campaigns. There will be propagation of medicinal plants important to the community. The project will limit shortage of safe drinking water, through provision of boreholes.
