Project of environmental education and cultural ecotourism in Bengo mountain – a project that aims to promote environmental, ecotouristic and cultural education to youth groups involving students, lecturers of Manica province and communities around the Bengo Mountain; a vacations camp will be established in the Bengo mountain where environmental related (walk trails, mini-zoo and reforestation) and cultural activities (drama, dance and curio) will take place towards preserving the scenic beauty and landscape of the area; also the project will hold workshops, debates and projection of environmental related movies; the mini-zoo (wildlife sanctuary or animal park) is an activity already ongoing which the project will expand; agrobiodiversity, valuation of traditional knowledge, and networking are issues that the project will address.
