Expanding of the Project – Hluvuka Antigos Combatentes Boane – a project that aims to contribute to the mitigation of land degradation of Boane district by avoiding deforestation, soil erosion, and unsustainable fishing practices; the project will promote environmental awareness campaigns, establish tree nurseries, produce shade and fruit trees; it will also provide alternative livelihoods for the war veterans community based in Boane district by boosting household economies; beekeeping, farming of drought resistant crops, livestock production of small species, sustainable fishing and conservation of parts of the Umbeluzi river basin will be part of the project activities.
