Unduly felling of tree plantations along the fields, canals and roads in this area intensifies wind erosion of the soil, reduces its natural fertility, and results in decrease of the crop capacity of the fields. Uncontrolled use of fertilizers and chemical pesticides is being an alternative for increasing the crops capacity of the fields. The project idea is that the farmers are encouraged for creating wind break strips by the funds if they reduce or cease using fertilizers and chemical pesticides in cultivating agricultural products.

Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
Conduction of an explanatory and informational campaign about the finance scheme of the wind-break system's creation, and conducting 10 seminars for 16 farms will increase awareness of population about the change they can make for global environment. Also 1000 brochures will be published, video film will be shot and 5 screens, 3 inforamtional boards will be installed for promoting public awareness. Seminars on promoting awareness of POPs will be conducted.
