The promotion of demonstration and development of low-carbon technology transfer by implementing the autonomous street lighting system with solar cells and LED lamps.
The promotion of demonstration and development of low-carbon technology transfer by implementing the autonomous street lighting system with solar cells and LED lamps.
The project “The promotion of demonstration and development of low-carbon technology transfer by implementing the autonomous street lightning system with solar cells and LED lamps”; aims to replace traditional lightning systems with a new and high-performance technology, ecologically clean and very efficient from the economic and energetic point of view, and reduce the impact on the environment in 20 communities.

The implementation of this project will allow the access of a large number of people (99 398 inhabitants) to its beneficial effects:

- Motivation of the large-scale use of renewable (alternative) energy sources with reduced emission of noxious substances;
- Making the young generation (students) aware of the benefits, priorities and results of the implementation of this technology.
The implementation of these systems will allow increasing the standard of life (prevailingly in rural localities where there are no public lighting systems at all).

The objectives of the project reside in promotion of the demonstration, development and transfer of low-carbon technologies at the community level, rely on its goal and include the following (specific) aspects:
- Public awareness workshops with beneficiaries;
- Promotion of the demonstration, development and transfer of low-carbon technologies at the community level by placing street public lighting systems with LED lamp and solar panel;
- Making the partners aware of the utility and benefits of the implementation of this project and the necessity of its continuance;
- Elaboration of the “Green Energy for All” information guide that will elucidate the benefic aspects of all renewable energy sources (photovoltaic panels, solar collectors).
