Sustainable Integrated use and management of Vulnerable Coastal Marine Environments
Project presents a new concept of incorporating sustainable livelihoods and the generation of income and employment in a national park surrounded by ecosystems wher nature trails, birds, wild animals, caves fauna and flora exist in total harmony-an undisturbed setting. Project will demonstrate the use of solar and wind power to generate electricity and for pumping water from underground resources. Eco cabins will be set up ,adapted to deal with hurricane challenges from the Atlantic oceans yet set up in such a way not causing damage to the soils. The 1500 residents in Barbuda will have an opportunity to empower their families through the provision of foods, skills and services to the high end guests that this facility will attract.
