With saving energy – we invest in the future
In the school in the village Turnovo currently there are 550 students which attend classes from first to ninth grade from three settlements: Turnovo, Sekirnik and Baldovci.

Because of the spatial conditions the teaching takes place in two shifts and the cost of electricity and heating are huge.
In order to facilitate the normal teaching and reduce the cost of electricity and heating, the local government of Bosilovo has put this school on a priority in the Energy Efficiency Program.
Also the Municipal Council of Bosilovo has made a specific decision to prioritize the working in this school.
The realization of this project will have multiple benefits:
-putting into function this section of the school, classes will take place in one shift
-the setting of warmth isolation and replacement of carpentry, heating costs will be reduced by at least 50%
-because the teaching will take place in one shift, the costs for electricity and heating will be reduced by 50%
-because for the heating is used oil, with this project will also be reduced and the emission of CO2
This project is in line with the central area, “Climate Change”, and also meets the following criteria:
-The project has a measurable impact through precise indicators and through practical and environmental benefits
- it builds Partnership with Local Government at the local level
-is replicable and can be repeated many times
-has a development component for capacity building of the association and the community (monitoring and evaluation)
-has an educational component (workshops)
-has a dissemination of information and experiences to other entities (flyers, news, information media)
