Youths in E Waste Mangement
This project, the first of it's kind is an NGO and church's respond to E Waste which is mixed with regular household waste. stored at the dump. The toxic and hazardous chemicals gradually filter into our soils, our waters, affecting our heal and our foods-even out fish and causing cancers. Through an extensive public education and awareness program, a call will be made for the waste to be collected and stored at Computer reset or the BTC. The 26 boys will be trained in Computer Assembly Secondhand computers will be put together and sold and the junk sent to Barbados to the Caribbean waste management project where they are put in containers for sale to Canada .
