Biodiversity value of regenerating forests in Papua New Guinea
Biodiversity value of regenerating forests in Papua New Guinea
The project will seek to assess the value of regenerating forests in two sites for purposes of verifying the contribution they make to tree species. This assessment is aimed at testing the hypothesis that regenerating forest reduces extinction debt. The project will also support capacity development by engaging select post graduate students to conduct the research and publish.
This is a multifocal project of Biodiversity conservation and capacity development.
