Promoting Environmental Learning in Young Adults
This project aims to promote environmental learning among youth in primary and secondary schools in the Khomas region. It seeks to implement a dedicated environmental education programme specifically for schools in Windhoek where it allows learners an opportunity to learn about their own environment and understand the concepts of sustainable living.
The plan is to expose them to an outdoor setting and increase their knowledge leading to improved living conditions with the potential of reducing dependency on non-renewable natural resources such as fossil fuels and wood. The same time, it will create awareness on the importance of saving water and minimizing waste.
