The project's main goal was to establish an Aquaponics Facility and an organic farm in the poorest community in Saint Lucia. By the end of the project it had achieved the following results:
(i) Leased a ten acre plot of land which is now dedicated to organic farming in the poorest Administrative Quarter of Saint Lucia; (ii) Reduced their carbon footprint by using solar as the main sources of energy for the pumping system; (iii) 32 young people were trained in a variety of areas including organic practices and leadership out of which 4 graduated as senior youth mentors and 8 as part time employees on the farm; (iv) Other specific areas of training included plant and animal anatomy, photosynthesis and respiration, living systems, the nitrogen cycle, the role of bacteria in ecology, the function of water in ecology, and the science of sustainable food production; (v) New skills were imparted in areas such as project management, communications and negotiations, presentation of project information, organic farm practices and farm design, and hydroponics practices.

During the project cycle a total of 32 young person were employed (11 women and 21 men) of which 12 were employed beyond the project's life span. Short term income was US$27,197 (US$9086 women; $18,112 men) with long term income (beyond project cycle) being US$10,630 (US$3793 -women; US$6837-men). Production by the end of the project included carrots, lettuce and scallion 10 lbs). Most of the produce were bartered for electrical services.'

Sacred Sports Foundation has plans to expand this small organic farm in the future to serve the community of Canaries.
