Introduction of aquaponics farming as an alternative method in the community of Clozier located in the parish of st John.
The project seeks to address
1.The contamination of Human and the environment through the use of harmful agrochemicals in agriculture
2.The decline in soil productivity through bad agriculture practice, that help to deplete soil nutrients,
3.Decreasing supply of water for irrigation of crops .

These arise due to:
1.bad agriculture practice
2.over cultivation of soil
3.indiscriminate use of harmful agrochemicals
4.climate change

The objectives of the project are to
(i) Establish and continue to operate a successful aquaponics production system during and after the completion of the project
(ii) Build the capacity of the organization to implement the project and at least twenty five (25) interested persons both practical and theoretical in aquaponics production during and after the project cycle
(iii) Develop and implement public awareness programs during the project cycle that can encourage persons to get into aquaponics farming
(iv)Establish a network of persons that can communicate and collaborate with each other with the aim of promoting aquaponics farming in Grenada by end of project cycle
