SIDS ADAPT
The project seeks to increase environmental resilience and climate change adaptation programme and project visibility and networking and best practices within the Caribbean encouraging the general public in climate change adaptation actions. The key objectives include the following:
1) Over the period of 12 months, showcase on an international level the GEF SGP?s and development partners? climate change adaptation impacts and success stories from approximately eleven (11) Caribbean islands about what they are actively doing to help communities to adapt and build resilience to climate change.
2) By February 2016, an attractive framework will be implemented to facilitate climate change adaptation education and increase awareness by 75% among the general public, in particular youth and women.
3) To promote climate-smart, environmental and sustainable business/entrepreneurship, by increasing youth and women involvement by 10% in environment conservation and sustainable livelihoods within a 6-month period.
4) By February 2016, develop a repository of SIDS CBA videos for television and media out-reach in the form of a regional platform for knowledge storage and retrieval.

Capacity - Building Component
Highly trained staff and a talented video editing team that produces clean, professional video content. However the staff lacks knowledge of the environment.
