The Communication Strategy is focused on the involvement of interested stakeholders and community organizations, development of relationships and cooperation with governmental agencies, donor organizations and private sector and media. organizing numerous trainings is an integral part of the project. the facebook page was created, the photo exhibition was arranged, the booklet produced and distributed among stakeholders.

The project has well covered gender issues. It provides good analysis of the women’ role in project activities. The project plans to remediate areas that are under the threat of avalanches. One of the objectives is to organize trainings and workshops, where women participation is considered. Besides, key mobilization specialist is also women. Project conducted survey of local population; so in the questionnaire women’s needs was considered to identify their needs in relation to project objectives.

The project was focused on detection snow avalanche spots and take preventive measures . recultivation of pasture land of local community has improved the socio-economic conditions of the village in total up to 30 households.

The results was documented in electronic and printed format. Best practice and lessons learnt about the remediation areas that are under the threat of avalanches is accessible to wider public through social media and printed publication.

mitigation measures taken to prevent village from snow avalanches, the reduced soil degradation by planting of pine trees and restored land and will result increase of soil productivity (about 5 hectares of pasture land area) as a result 30 households of Karkhucha village will have better socio economic conditions and environment.
