Lweendo Lwangu Biodiversity Conservation Project
There is need of conservation of natural resources (forest and tree planting) in chief Mwanza and sensitize the community on the importance of natural resources. The project is designed to protect the environment and control pollution in the chiefdom. The project will also have demonstration plot –Biodiversity in chief Mwanza as the key learning point in the area. The project is also designed to achieve sustainable use of biodiversity, its components and improved productivity of the land and rehabilitation, conversation and sustainable use of management of land, forest resources through promotion of sustainable use of renewable natural resources, maintaining of biological diversity and essential process and life-support systems with a total budget of ZMW 200,000.00 (US$ 20,000.00).
