"Improving water management and capacity building for climate change in Wuli".
The goal of the project is to mitigate the effects of climate change in the community of Kerewan through proper water management systems and training. Project activities will include the development of 1 hectare of land belonging to the women?s group by fencing, providing water facilities using solar, and building the capacity of the group in composting and the adoption of Integrated Pest management in vegetable production. The project aims to increase the incomes of the women and helping the group to adapt to climate change issues that had adversely affected their livelihoods.

Project Characteristics and Results
The capacity of the beneficiary members has been enhanced through training on horticulture, integrated pest management, composting and cultural practices designed to enhance sustainable agricultural production.
The policy will influence policies on Climate Change Agriculture which is gaining momentum in the country.
