Increasing conservation value of crater mountain wildlife management area through sustainable socio-economic and socio-environmental development options
This community based organization, resident in Goroka District, Eastern Highlands Province, to facilitate a livelihood improvement program titled, ”Increasing conservation value of Crater Mountain Wildlife Management Area through sustainable socio-economic and socio-environmental development options” that will strengthen the conservation work around Crater Mountain WMA. This planning and design phase will enable the group to interact with its anticipated beneficiaries, have opportunity to cost out expected expenses for implementing the proposed livelihood improvement program, identify specific management measures to complement ongoing biodiversity management and initiate contact with potential project partners.
This was an intermediary arrangement facilitating the access to grant for the local CBO Ubaigubi Herowana Community Development Initiative.
