"Green Energy in Hissor"
Limitations energy supply in winter period, high energy cost causes tough condition for rural population and they as a result cutting down trees and shrubs which lead to the to the environmental issues. According to the Agency for forestry 47% of the population uses wood for energy and heating, the average annual rate of deforestation is 2%. Degradation of forest cover, soil erosion, heavy precipitation lead to more extensive development zones of mudflows and landslides. Taking all this into account Youth Ecological Center propose a project for improving the environment through more sustainable use of natural resources and creation of alternative livelihoods for local communities, enhancing the role of communities and young people in addressing local social and environmental problems.
