To promote goat rearing to improve nutrition and income at household level
Main Project Objective
The overall objective for this project is to promote goat rearing and energy saving
stoves so as to improve nutrition and income at household level in Mushima Village Action Group.

Specific objectives
1. To increase the number of people rearing goats in Mushima Village Action Group;
2. To impart new skills in goat rearing activities through planned goat – rearing activity. This will help them to generate income to meet their daily needs without resorting to destroying the forest and wildlife in general;
3. To empower people with the skills in energy saving stoves.

Expected Results
1. Procure and deliver 871 local she goats, and 20 he goats and deliver them to 871 households;
2. 871 households trained in sustainable goat – rearing;
3. 871 households trained in energy saving stoves;
4. 871 energy saving stoves constructed.
