Gender Focus
Among AJA members who want to go organic, there is a majority of women. The latter are already very active in the Aromatic and Medicinal Plants sector, which must be a biological sector to meet market demand. The planting experience of moringa hedgerows is also carried by women. The project will therefore pay particular attention to young women farmers in Sened.
