For a concerted management of the Lella Hadhria wetland in the perspective of preserving a threatened ecosystem and biodiversity
Implementation of a mapping, a multisectoral conservation strategy and a monitoring system of Lella Hadhria lagoon in order to ensure the sustainability of natural resources and also stengthen the link between conservation and ssocio-economic developments.
In addition, the project aim to submit ssite renking on the Ramsar list ensuring its preservation and sustainable development.

Project Characteristics and Results
Capacity - Building Component
A comprehensive capacity building program will be initiated as part of the project. It will include all stakeholders, including public awareness, participatory mechanisms with local development committees, consultations with NGOs, training of project staff, more rigorous enforcement of regulations, and workshops for pool and synthesize all information with interested parties and scientists. This vast operation aims to consolidate the participatory approach of the project, to develop the knowledge base and to develop the human resources that will defend the long-term viability of biodiversity in the project area.
Notable Community Participation
As part of the project, we plan to promote and enhance the citizen involvement of young people in the implementation of the process, by informing them about the project, by organizing outings to help them discover the fauna and flora, by establishing regular exchanges with them to enable them to deepen their knowledge and raise their awareness.
