Project objectives
- Improved genetics from queen rearing through the establishment of a queen rearing lab, members trained in queen rearing and queens bred with superior characteristics.
- Train farmers to implement Integrated Agriculture which will reduce chemical use.
- To increase the strength of hives through capacity building in hive management and introduction of hive sensor technology.
- To develop and increase the variety and quantity of hive value-added products.
- To develop an apicultural tourism package and guide which will be used for apitourism development nationally
