However, around 95 percent vegetables are the traditionally vegetable growing of seasonal productivity, farmer used chemical fertilizer and pesticide to control vegetable growing and eliminate pests that might result on long term impact on the human health. Thaxang village, Parkngum district, Vientiane capital is the organic farming group and every week, they can supply around 7-8 tons of organic vegetables to the market. This agriculture business can improve livelihood of community when it is compared with the past ten years. The organic vegetable growth process is avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The farmers use organic fertilizer and extract natural pesticides instead, but the challenges are fungi and insects invade the vegetables.
