Keep Aitutaki Clean – Repair, Refresh, Reeducate
Keep Aitutaki Clean – Repair, Refresh, Reeducate
The ‘Keep Aitutaki Clean – Repair, Refresh and Reeducate Project’ will:
Repair our ‘Keep Aitutaki Clean’ bin sets, bin stations and Enviroloos;
Refresh all ‘Keep Aitutaki Clean’ signage, bins and Enviroloo stickers; and
Reeducate our community regarding the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling our waste.
Reeducating ‘what’ can be recycled, ‘how’ to recycle, ‘when’ and ‘why’. Raising community awareness as to the correct usage of our Enviroloos, where they are located and how to report any issues. Raising community awareness regarding their importance and further encouraging our community to help ‘Keep Aitutaki Clean’.

This project will further strengthen how we as a community can help to ‘Keep Aitutaki Clean’, reduce our waste, reduce the risk of pollution to our land, lagoon and waterways and care for our environment.
