Mangrove tree seedling and planting for Murik Lakes
This project will be focused in and within a freshwater lake area mangrove system. Five communities have been identified to be recipients of the project initiative and total beneficiaries expected numbers 11,551. Mangrove ecosystem within the Murik Lakes in East Sepik province will be the target site, prevention of coastal erosion to protect human livelihood and an awareness activity to be carried out aimed at improving understanding around climate change impacts.
