Creating Sustainable Agriculture through effective Environmental Best Practices
The project seeks to improve the solid waste management system in the community of Seaview Gardens to reduce greenhouse gases produced from the improper disposal of waste while creating income generating opportunities for residents. A formal recycling programme will also be established in the community by establishing relationships with stakeholders such as the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA), the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC), the Ministry of Health & Wellness (MoHW), and community-based organizations. The focal area of the is Chemicals and Waste Management.
