"Before I left Kenya, I did not see any value in my going to India, but when I saw many other women who were challenged in terms of education, eager to learn, I got encouraged and opened up my mind to learn. I can now say I am educated because I can challenge a person who has gone through school with the skills that I acquired."

"Though we were away from our families, we are happy that we went there. We now have a different perspective of how things look like in another country. Even with the challenge of language barrier, we were able to learn and acquire skills as well as getting along well with the rest of the women from other countries like Tanzania, Sierra Leone, Chad and other countries."
