“We began, in a joint effort with the Small Grants Programme of the Global Environment Facility, the construction of 19 community-based micro-hydro projects. This will allow us to get the first delivery to over 2,100 families in hilly areas around the country. The plan goes until 2016 and includes the construction of 50 small micro-hydro power plants which will bring light and development to a total of 5,500 families in remote areas of the country. ”
