What has been the most significant contribution of the National Steering Committee (NSC)?

"The most significant contribution of the NSC as a group is the contribution of different ideas from different backgrounds of the members during appraisal of project proposals, review of focus areas, etc. The members are with very rich experiences from varied backgrounds but all related to environment in one way or another. The collective approval of projects gives the Office confidence in its managing of funds."

In your view, what is the most unique aspect of SGP?

"The most unique aspect is the composition of the group from government, academics and NGOs working together towards the same objectives. Moreover, they work outside working hours on a voluntary basis. Members' commitment to give their time to visit projects in different parts of the country is also admirable."
