The project planning will concentrate on identifying the potential issues to be tackled on 4 fronts, identification of the amount and quality of water resources as well as the level of sustainable utilisation, the potential of wind power for replacing electricty, use of solar power in cooking and heating of buildings, identifying models for reduction of heat losses and improvement of energy efficieny in buildings by architectural means. The project to be prepared will then decide on which one/s of these issues to tackle first and develop their detailed plan to improve the livelihoods of people in the area. The project site is very close to Sorgun, Yozgat in Central Anatolia. The project implementations are hoped to be easily replicable as the area is typical of the region in general.
