Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
The project promotes public awareness of the global environment, starting from the very local level. The former project has established a certain level of awareness, and this follow-up publication is believed to underline and emphasise the importance of the research and its practical uses.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The publication will be mainly disseminated at the local level with an aim to keep the infomration gathered alive and to re-emphasise the possiblity that, if these resources are used (in a sustainable manner) they can prove to be important income-generating alternatives for the local people.
